What is the effect of microwaves on the germination of radish seeds?

Working on a science project with my son of 4 and our experiments, microwave not seem to have an effect on seed (10 seeds microwave for 20 seconds). Is this consistent with the findings of others?

Microwave normal not to form a homogeneous field inside the microwave. Normally that does not matter because you're putting something in it big enough. One dish to try to move or even a microwave radiation, depending on where you say (and especially the floor of a microwave can not get any kind of radiation). In them for a while.
