We have broken the shutters to let the beautiful Caribbean sun into the bedroom. It was somewhere around ten in the morning after a long night watermelon margaritas and beach tunes at Mezzanine club in Tulum, Mexico, that we realized where I wanted to spend the rest of our lives.

My wife and I are music lovers at heart. Greetings from New York and although there is no lack of musical inspiration from here, we travel to the edges the world in search of more. We found Tulum by accident, getting lost on our way to Mexico City, and looking back, we have made the lap wrong in our lives.

Each resort has its own unique musical identity. The Congo African has this great feature by the banging beat battery. French bistro has that twangy sound you hear coming from the windows of picturesque villages. And the Caribbean has this quiet sound quality … at least we thought.

In this particular club on the beach in Tulum, Mexico, we are driven by DJs and dancers, backed by the sound of the waves colliding, appeared in the sky. The party lasted late into the night and finally in the morning, when it seemed slow themes to appeal to everyone back to their bungalows.

Fortunately, that happened to be staying in the hotel Tulum same so our walk was not far. But the awakening in the morning, we realized this was life. Great weather, great people, great nightlife and all in the space of a few kilometers of virgin white sand beach. In New York, sure, we have this. But there is no beautiful beach, and climate, especially now, is near freezing.

If you're a music lover and looking for a new city, that of Tulum, Mexico is among the best we have experienced. There are legendary rave-like parties on the beach that has a way of attracting even non-lovers rave and several other restaurants / bars offering live music: everything with the Corona-commercial, as a decoration a silk beach and turquoise waters. Returning to New York, who became addicted to the music he had heard for the first time in Tulum. We collected the mixture several albums of DJ and reviewed our pictures, hoping that we could go back there as soon as possible.
