What vegetables to serve with a sweet nutty salmon dish?

Salmon marinated in an olive oil base in Asia for ten minutes and crown with a crisp, sweet, caramel sauce and nuts. Normally cook garlic or lemon zuccini portobellos by the parties, but I feel it requires a strong vegetables to balance the sweet. Any suggestions? Broccoli? Thanks in advance!

Steamed asparagus all would be well with this dish.

During the Christmas holidays, I like to serve a sweet potato dish with our holiday meals.

The first recipe features fresh blueberries, so I like to serve you during Christmas dinner. The second recipe is what I enjoy doing for Thanksgiving dinner and even the kids seem to enjoy it.

If you have any rest, I would not freeze because freezing does not seem right to me, however, be maintained for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.

Cranberries and Yam Casserole

2 cans large yams
1 / 2 cup butter, softened
3 / 4 cup sugar brunette
2 cups fresh blueberries, rinsed and drained
1 teaspoon salt
1 / teaspoon black pepper 2

Wash and drain cranberries and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl combine 2 baking potatoes with juice, butter, brown sugar, salt and pepper until all ingredients are well combined. Gently stir in fresh blueberries. Cover the pan and place in oven at 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes or until done.

Sausage Stuffed Sweet Potatoes

6 large sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 1 / 2 tablespoons milk
1 large egg
1 1 / 2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon oregano
4 ounce package sausage

In a preheated oven at 350 degrees, bake the potatoes in a dish to tender. Or you can bake in a microwave for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spoon the potato pulp and place in large bowl. Add the butter softened, milk, egg, salt and oregano until ingredients are combined with the pulp. Cut the sausage links into bite size pieces and mix gently times pulp. Spoon the pulp back into the sweet potato shells and place back in baking dish.

Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until done.

Sweet potato in its many varieties are a food highly nutritious, easy to prepare, taste heavenly and very versatile in any menu. However, they are undervalued, ignored and underestimated. Some people enjoy wonderful taste and health benefits of sweet potatoes round the year, but for many families sweet potatoes appear on the Thanksgiving table, and only then. It was the Portuguese who took Sweet Potatoes to Asia and Africa, where they have become an important staple in the diet, even today.

There are two main varieties of sweet, yellow, drier, more mealy type with lighter skin beige and orange, wetter, candies with reddish skins that are called "yams." True yams, however, are nothing like the sweet potato, but are a tuber native to Africa, very starchy, not very sweet, and grow as large as 100 pounds.
