Where can I buy heritage or inheritance of tomato plants in Montreal, Canada? Can I ask ahead of time?
looking for plants or small plants, not the seeds themselves.
Trying to grow from the seeds on their own, is super easy and get more ground tomatoes house grown seed. It should begin inside out before being planted in the ground or in pots after the last frost (in Alberta is May 15ish). Here are a couple of my favorite heritage sites and organic seeds. And here's how to grow them: http://www.canadiangardening.com/gardens/kids15.shtml

What plants (seeds) will grow quickly and be easily seen?
I'm doing a science project to irrigate plants certain amount of coffee to see if it has negative effects on the plant. The problem, however, is the choice of a plant / seed to start. I wanted to watch the plant above the ground, but did not know where to start. So ideas? A list of seed / plants would be helpful ^ ^ Oh, and help links if you have any also thanks ~!
Water cress. You can get the seeds for easily, is what we use in "Chia Pets". Bluegrass lawns and other work well. A big advantage is that the Chia Pet growing medium, seed distribution and similar variables are controlled factory environment mass production for you. All you have to do is set the control and experiment (s) in the same environment and run tests.

What should I do when I start seeds for the garden indoors?
Jiffy I have five green houses you can buy at the garden center. In it I put the seeds with soil. How do I keep moist to germinate? What else should I know?
Want wet but not soggy. You water and soil so it is nice and damp, but not so wet that it can squeeze the water out. After planting the seeds and put on the lid. Keep the effect greenhouse in a warm place. Some seeds, like tomatoes, as well as its very warm soil to sprout. They do not have to be in direct sunlight at this point. Can not need to add water to cover everything stays wet. When the seeds germinate, or most of them, you can remove the cover. After they sprout you need more light and humidity and good air circulation to keep them strong and prevent damping off. A grow light fluorescent light or stay close to old-style plants will promote leaf growth and prevent '. long legs' Good luck.
