How to care for a Cactus / Cactus?
Ok, heres the deal. My friend gave me a Christmas cactus and I know nothing about plants. Does anyone here own a cactus / cacti or has always looked after one, because I'm pretty sure he will die in your, say a month? If I do not fix it soon! Cheers!
Most, but not all are easy to grow cactus. You did not tell us where you live, so you can take in the eastern U.S.. If the cactus is planted in the ground, a very good chance of rotting it. Remember, nobody likes cold wet feet, and not a cactus. So keep warm and in a sunny spot. If you really get is green and tall and thin, then not making clear enough. Wait until the pot of cactus and feel the light, then water thoroughly. Allow to dry between waterings, but here's the trick, if you wait until the cactus is a bone dry, then the roots are dead, that water, and bingo, ROT. Do not let it dry.

cactus plants?
I really like the cactus, but Im not sure what type of purchase. I need one that can suriv through cold and hot weather (Florida). They also tend to forget to water my plants, so I need one that remains almost without much help from me.
I think any will. Cactus does not really need much water. Just remember to water once a week. During hot weather, can be left alone, only water, but during cold weather, store in a warm place.
