A new year has arrived and some of us have made the family New Year's resolution, ie to lose weight. Since a car of Health and certified hypnotist all my many customers in the safe (and easy to lose weight) is my experience, I'd like to share one of my best "reality checks" – Ie looking at how sugar affects other areas of your body and not just your waistline.
I would like to help understand Why you should consider reducing your daily intake of sugar first. A good place to start is having to answer this question: Do you have any idea of how much sugar you and your family consume on average each day or a week? I hope you feel down when you see the answers below! These tips are sure change the way we make purchases in the future and have a major impact on the management of its "waist" issues.
Did · you that the adult and the average American child consumes about ¾ of a pound of sugar a day! That equates to 5 pounds of sugar a week! Yes, I said a week! Can you imagine in your mind now, what 5-pound bag of sugar that looks and feels so heavy? It weighs 5 pounds. Can you imagine deliberately put a 5-pound bag of sugar on your kitchen table, for each member of your family, work and family is to ensure that they consume all their bag of sugar every day to be empty in a week? WOW!
· Did you know that major problems can occur in the health of children when consume too much sugar such as hyperactivity, obesity and allergies? Research studies have shown that school grades go up when the sugar and food additives are removed from the diets of children.
· Did you know that sugar suppresses the immune system? Good, you might be thinking, "What's wrong with that?" Let me tell you. When your immune system is suppressed, are sick more often. Do you like being sick? Do you like your child is sick?
· Did you know that 100 grams of sugar (25 teaspoons), which is approximately the amount of sugar in a King Size Chocolate Bar (13.5 teaspoons) or a 12 oz can of soda (9.75 teaspoons) is sufficient to suppress their immune system and your child to up to 6 hours? Yes, I said 6 hours.
· Did you know that 6 teaspoons of sugar decreases the function immune by 25%?
· Did you know that 10 teaspoons of sugar decreases the function immune by 50%?
· Did you know that 24 teaspoons of sugar decreases the function immune by 92%?
Let's put this into prospective. What if you and your child ate a candy bar drank a soda and then went grocery shopping? What if the person using your shopping cart before you have a bad cold or even worse, the flu, and their germs are everywhere your shopping cart, especially mango. Then he touched their mouth or your child's mouth with his hands as we all do after push the cart around the store. Because you and your child's immune system is suppressed up to 6 hours because of the candy and soft drinks to the two just eaten, we just raise the chance of another big time cold or flu. Ick!
Therefore, all the little "Sugarholics" out there, if you want to lose weight and stay healthy, you may want to cut much sugar you and your family's diet as possible can.
