Chinese broccoli?
can anyone tell me how to cook Chinese broccoli? I was planning to steam, but I wondered how long it should also take a simple sauce for it. thanks! PS I mean Kai-lan, no broccoli Chinese American style. thanks
Chinese broccoli in my hometown Mom was famous .. so we have very often in our dining table. Some simple recipes here for your reference. <<<<<< >>>>>>> Boil 500 g Chinese broccoli Chinese broccoli (washed and cut into 3-inch diagonal) 1 tablespoon peanut oil 1 slice ginger (crushed) pinch of salt 1.5 tsp oyster sauce 1) Heat water in a saucepan, bring to a boil, put oil, ginger and salt in water, boil for a few seconds, put the Chinese broccoli water, cook for 2 minutes or until broccoli is soft (not over cook) 2) Drain well, wet oyster sauce when serving. <<<<<< Stir-fry Chinese broccoli with Chinese sausage Chinese sausage >>>>>> 1 (Cheung lap, you can get in grocery store or supermarket Chinese) 600 g sliced Chinese broccoli (washed, cut 3 inches diagonal), drain 1 clove garlic (chopped) 1 slice of ginger (crushed) 1.5 tablespoon cooking wine 1 teaspoon sugar 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon cornstarch water 2 tsp oil 2 tablespoons peanut or cooking oil 50 cc of water with a few drops of sesame oil 1) Mix soy sauce, water, cornstarch in a bowl, set aside 2) Heat the wok over high heat, when the real wok is hot, add oil, saute ginger and garlic very quickly for 10 seconds, add the Chinese sausage, sauté for 30 seconds (a little oil would and you can smell the fragrance) 3) Add the Chinese broccoli in the wok, saute 30 seconds, pour the wine, add 50 cc of water and sugar, then sauté for 2 minutes, add salt, broccoli saute until soft, pour the soy sauce mixture in the wok, stir until sauce thickens. Serve on a plate. <<<<<< Stir fried Chinese broccoli with salted fish >>>>>>> 600 g Chinese broccoli (washed / cut 3 inches diagonal) 50 g of salted fish (cut into cubes) (you can find in the Chinese store) 2 slices fresh ginger (Cut in strips) 1 clove garlic (chopped) 1 red Thai chile (seeded and chopped) 50 cc of water 1 / 2 teaspoon sugar 2 tablespoon peanut oil / oil cooking 1 tablespoon cooking wine 1) Heat the wok over medium heat, add oil and ginger, stir fry until fragrant, add the salted cubes, reduce heat to low, cook for 2 minutes or until cooked salt fish.) turn the heat 2 to high, add garlic and Chinese broccoli and saute for 30 seconds, add the cooking wine, stir fry quickly, add water and sugar until the sauce dry fry.
