What plants are best coverage of privacy yard and 3 large dogs?

I live near Chicago, IL and have a great patio. Looking at the plant a good, fast growing, dense, tall hedge around the backyard. I have approx. 300 'area near cover. It also has 3 large dogs. My plan is to install invisible electric fence to keep dogs away from growing plants as well. Looking for full coverage from the floor to at least 10 'high. I was considering hybrid willow or some kind of evergreen.

We have a Mediterranean climate and I have used and been very happy with my coverage of Privet — It's hard to grow as high as you want it and can spread easily from cutting and grows reasonably fast
