Question on saving of an annual hibiscus flower for next year?
I have a hibiscus plant annual flower and have been told if I dig it up (planted in a container to excavate) and save it in the basement that should be able to replant next year, some advice or suggestions on how to keep it alive during the winter?
What you have is probably a tropical hibiscus is a perennial in tropical regions. You can dig it and leads him in and treat it as a houseplant and then put back outside when all danger of spring frost is over. If you do not want to dig up and replant each year, you might consider investing in a large container that can only be moved in and out as needed because the hibiscus will do well in a container. Just be sure to find a sunny spot to while under roof. Good Luck
