What is red and white phosphorus with such different properties?
Two important allotropes white and red phosphorus. White phosphorus, P4, has a melting point of 44.1 C and spontaneously reacts with oxygen. Red phosphorus, a solid network, melts at 280 C and is stable in the air. Use your knowledge or intermolecular and intramolecular bond to explain why these two forms of the same element have such different properties?
White phosphorus, or yellow phosphorus, or simply tetraphosphorus (P4) exists as molecules composed of four atoms. The tetrahedral arrangement results in the deformation of the ring and instability. The molecule is described as a unique set of six of the PP bonds. Two different crystalline forms are known. The form α, that is stable under normal conditions, is structured body-centered cubic crystal. Reversibly transforms into the β form at 195.2 K. The β form is believed which have a hexagonal crystal structure. Red phosphorus can be formed by heating white phosphorus to 250 ° C (482 ° F) or by exposing white phosphorus to sunlight. Red phosphorus exists as an amorphous network. When heated again, the crystallized amorphous red phosphorus. Red phosphorus does not turn on the air at temperatures less than 240 ° C, whereas white phosphorus ignites about 30 ° C.

our entire universe is not more than one atom on a blade of grass?
One could take the pen and enlarge. It gets to the point that a realization impressive strikes home: The pencil tip is not solid, is composed of atoms which whirl and revolve like a trillion demon planets. What seems solid for us is really just a loose network together by gravity. Viewed at actual size, the distances between these atoms might become league, gulfs, aeons. The atoms themselves are composed of nuclei and revolving protons and electrons. You can give in relation to the subatomic particles. And then what? Tachyons? Nothing? Of course not. Everything in the universe denies nothing to suggest an ending is absurd. Could it be that everything we perceive, because of the distance microscopic virus of the Horsehead Nebula, is contained in a blade of grass that may have existed for the season once in a flow of undocumented? Just Think how small such a concept of things we do.
It depends on the perspective one has to observe the world. It is from a subjective point of view that one describes how they see the world around them, and parts of the universe that can not easily see, and have not discovered yet. Yes, all things great and small are still composed of small parts smaller. That's what makes things so wonderful and beautiful. To know that all the perfect bits and pieces together to make a flower, a blade of grass, the sun, moon, materials to build his house, is so fascinating. And having that open mind is a real gift, and philosophy, the root of many questions and discussions. To know there is always something we have yet to learn about this, that and the other, lets us know that we have not finished learning. It also lets us know that There are many possibilities for us to explore and keep learning, and that, like life, a journey, and makes you experience a true miracle and a reason to live.

How to care for a Cactus / Cactus?
Ok, heres the deal. My friend gave me a Christmas cactus and I know nothing about plants. Does anyone here own a cactus / cacti or has always looked after one, because I'm pretty sure he will die in your, say a month? If I do not fix it soon! Cheers!
Most, but not all are easy to grow cactus. You did not tell us where you live, so you can take in the eastern U.S.. If the cactus is planted in the ground, a very good chance of rotting it. Remember, nobody likes cold wet feet, and not a cactus. So keep warm and in a sunny spot. If you really get is green and tall and thin, then not making clear enough. Wait until the pot of cactus and feel the light, then water thoroughly. Allow to dry between waterings, but here's the trick, if you wait until the cactus is a bone dry, then the roots are dead, that water, and bingo, ROT. Do not let it dry.

How should I adjust watering Italian cypress summer to winter and vice versa?
How should you adjust the cypress tree irrigation Italian summer to winter and vice versa? The reason I ask is for my noticing some of these trees (in the field of 2 1 / 2 years) with trend to favor the effect of strong winds – and need to be tied. My question is: should the summer irrigation is less frequent, but deeper (more)? Are conifers spread the roots down in the summer? I realize that there is little top growth in summer. These trees are found in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona.
